Earthwalker Sunflower Helianthus annuus A unique & dazzling addition to the sunflower palette! Earthwalker produces several heads on each plant, ranging from bright yellow to bronze to deep chocolate, making it a perfect variety for cut flowers. Plants grow to 6 feet tall. ~100 seeds.

Petit Canadien Tobacco Nicotiana tabacum A historical tobacco variety, grown in Québec dating back at least a century. Plants reach between 2 and 3 feet. Flowers are an attractive pink, and the dried and powdered foliage has often been used for repelling insects in the garden. Also known historically as Small Red Canadian. Seeds are tiny, so when sowing be careful not to bury too deep! ~100+seeds.

Poppy Papaver somniferum Beautiful and edible at the same time! Gorgeous pinkish-mauve flowers in the summer and poppy seeds in the fall for cakes and bread. Sow in early spring directly where you want them to grow and thin to about a foot apart. Does not like to be transplanted. Plants are two to three feet high with greenish-blue foliage. Start collecting the dry capsules in late august to early September before all the seeds fall out. Will resow from year to year if you leave a few pods on the plants. ~400 seeds.

Genovese Basil Ocimum basilicum 70 days full size. Genovese basil excels for making classic Italian pesto! Large, buttery and succulent aromatic leaves yield lots of bulk for putting up an ample supply of pesto for the winter. Basil is a heat-loving, tender annual that cannot stand frost, so do not sow too early in spring. Best started indoors at the beginning of April. ~250+ seeds.
